Beyt al Chai is a 6 room boutique property set on 3 floors in what was once a tea house. A mixture of Arabian mystic in an African setting, the hotel is set a few minutes from the sea and the shops, restaurants and attractions of Stonetown.

Each of the 6 rooms is furnished in silks and antique furniture and is very slightly different to any another. Every room is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan, although it is possible to open the windows and enjoy the sights and sounds of the town nearby. There are 3 room categories, Princess, Prince and Sultan, of varying size. Each has en-suite facilities.

The Beyt al Chai restaurant offers a mixture of European and Zanzibari food. As well as the more standard meals, the restaurant also offers snacks and salads throughout the day. The lounge area offers a comfortable place to relax after a days sightseeing, to read and enjoy a cooling drink.

As well as sightseeing in Stonetown itself, it is also possible to arrange tours of the island, such as the Spice Island Tour and a visit to the Jozani forest.

Guests to the Beyt Al Chai enjoy a high level of personal service and attention to detail. This coupled with antique furniture in all of the luxury rooms, makes it an excellent option for all.
