Breezes is a very friendly 4* hotel, with and attentive staff and an amazing array of restaurants.

It is located on the Michamvi Peninsula on a fantastic stretch of powdery white sandy beach an hour from Stone Town.

Breezes is very popular with honeymooners as it offers the right combination of luxury, intimacy and choice.

It is quite large with seventy rooms in total a combination of standard, deluxe and suites.

There are four rooms in each white washed cluster with a red tiled roof. The rooms are dotted around the well-manicured gardens. The standard rooms have twin beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans, veranda and/or terrace. The deluxe and suite rooms have the same size bedroom, the suites are located on the upper floor with a balcony and the deluxe rooms are at garden level. The suite rooms also have a large dressing area with full-length mirror.

The standard rooms are smaller and not very close to the sea. We would normally suggest a deluxe or suite room.

Most meals are taken in the Salama Restaurant, however for a special occasion it is possible to book the Sultans Table or very popular with honeymooners Tides Restaurant.

There is a very good professionally run PADI registered Dive Centre at Breezes, run by Paul and his team, they are good fun, well organised and safe. Rising Sun can be used if you are a keen diver not staying at Breezes.

The Frangipani Spa is delightful – here you can enjoy a variety of treatments and therapies complimented by candlelight and Zanzibar spices.

As you would expect with a hotel of this size and standard, there is plenty of fun activities to take part in, including tennis courts, beach volleyball a great swimming pool and much more.

If you prefer a more exclusive stay but with access to the facilities Breezes has to offer – they also own Palms next-door and hot of the press about to be opened Baraaza.
