This small guesthouse is located on a white sand beach on the north east coast of Zanzibar. Just offshore you will find the world famous Mnemba Atoll, which offers some of the best diving in East Africa. Many guests stay here mainly for the diving, although its peaceful and remote location makes it an ideal relaxing spot following a safari.

There are 3 different room types at the hotel. The 5 suite rooms, set on 2 levels, have one bed in the bedroom area and a single bed under the stairs, suitable for a child. These rooms are set back from the beach but have an upstairs veranda on which to relax. The standard rooms have ceiling fans and en suite bathrooms; some are beach front but the majority are set within the gardens. The Asali Suite is best for honeymooners as it is set apart from the main lodge and has its own plunge pool and staff.

The restaurant is set within the main central area and look out over the beach. This area also serves as the lounge and bar area as well. The menu changes daily with special menus being catered for. You will find both books and games to amuse yourself with when you take a break from the sun.

The swimming pool is a nice area to relax around and holds scuba diving lessons for those wanting to learn to dive. The hotel has a PADI dive school and so can offer a variety of courses as well as snorkelling trips and other water sports.

The Mnemba Atoll is a circular reef, with good wall diving on the outer rim. Diving is year round and turtles and dolphins are seen regularly as are whale sharks and pilot whales.
