Mbweni Ruins Hotel
Mbweni accommodates 30 guests – not a large hotel. All the rooms are air-conditioned, furnished in exotic Zanzibar style and offer views of the Indian Ocean and the gardens.
There is a small swimming pool and the beach is easily accessible from your room. There are no phones or TVs in the room, to allow you peace. There is an Internet Cafe in the main reception area if you are desperate for contact.
From Mbweni, many exciting activities can be enjoyed including a dhow trip to the sandbanks opposite the hotel, swimming, fishing, diving, snorkelling, a nature trail and visits to see the spice plantations, stone town and to swim with dolphins.
