The all-inclusive Neptune Pwani Beach Resort lies on the north eastern coast of the island of Zanzibar on the Kiwenga shoreline. The hotel is set in beautiful tropical grounds which lead down to the stunning Indian Ocean whilst the resort itself has been elegantly furnished and decorated in a Swahili theme using Zanzibari furnishings.

The hotel consists of 150 rooms, 78 seaside rooms on the ocean front, 72 sea view rooms which are set back from the seaside rooms and 4 suites which have an Indian, colonial or Zanzibari themed décor. Each room has a traditional thatched roof and is generously spaced with King size or twin beds, mosquito nets, air-conditioning, satellite TV and room safe (charged locally). The en suite bathrooms have showers, hairdryers and shaving sockets. The suites also feature a Jacuzzi, lounge and mini-bar whilst all room types have a balcony for relaxing on.

The main restaurant is outdoors where the lavish buffet meals are served. For fresh seafood, why not visit the’ Samaki’, the a la carte restaurant offering seafood and fusion cuisine. The hotel also has 2 bars, the ‘Ngalawa’ offering guests drinks and snacks throughout the day and cocktails by evening and the pool bar. Situated in the middle of the swimming pools, this bar overlooks the sea and means you can enjoy a cooling drink without leaving the pool!

The Neptune Pwani Beach Resort also has a number of other facilities to offer its guests. The 2 pools, one of which is the largest in Zanzibar, is an ideal place to cool off; alternatively why not try scuba diving, deep sea fishing or indulge yourself in the Coconut Spa? Also available are pool and billiards, a library and board games as well as a jogging trail for the more energetic guest. Sightseeing and tours of the island are also available from the hotel locally.
