The first hotel to be built in the Paje area, Paje By Night sits just 100 m from a beautiful and unspoilt beach. Surrounded by tropical gardens full of palm trees, it takes just a minute to walk to the beach and the lagoon from this simple property.

The hotel consists of 20 bungalows, set in the lush gardens. There are 4 types of rooms available; standard, king size, jungle and family. The standard rooms have a double or twin beds, mosquito nets, ceiling fans and ensuite bathrooms. The kingsize rooms are more spacious than the standard rooms and also have air conditioning. The jungle bungalows are constructed of wood with coral walls and palm leaves. On the lower storey is a twin bedroom with ceiling fan whilst the upper floor has an air conditioned double bedroom with a mosquito net which leads onto a terrace. There is one bathroom to share. There is one family bungalow, with 2 bedrooms (one with a king size bed, the other with twin beds), 2 bathrooms and a lounge. Both bedrooms have mosquito nets and ceiling fans.

The restaurant at the hotel offers traditional Swahili cuisine as well as Indian and Italian specialities. Also available are snacks such as sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and fresh fruit. The bar serves a variety of tropical cocktails, wine, other well known alcoholic drinks and juices. On Friday there is a party with music; otherwise guests can spend their evenings relaxing around the gardens in the hammocks, around the fire or just watching the stars!

The hotel has a pool table and satellite TV as well as Wi-Fi internet access. The swimming pool is a good place to cool down and guests can also try fishing, snorkelling, diving and kite surfing, all of which are available at the hotel.
