One of the oldest hotels on the south east coast of Zanzibar, the Sau Inn Hotel can be found on the coast at Jambiani.

There are 35 bungalow-type rooms and 4 2 storey sets of accommodation. The rooms are divided into standard and luxury rooms, each of which has air conditioning, en suite facilities, hot water and a veranda.

The open-sided seaside restaurant, which faces the sea, serves a good variety of types of cuisine, including sea food, continental and traditional Zanzabari food. The bar offers a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks to choose from as well as snacks in case you get peckish!

The swimming pool is ideal for either lazing by or exercising in, whilst the white sand beach is only 10 metres away! Other water sports, such as diving and deep sea fishing, are available at the hotels Dive Centre.

Should you wish to venture further afield, the hotel offers a variety of tours such as trips to see the dolphins or the Jozan Forest. Alternatively it is easy to take a tour into the capital, Stone Town.
