Situated on the north east coast of Zanzibar, approximately 45 minutes from Stone Town and the international airport, lies the Zamani Kempinski. Set amongst beautifully tended gardens on the white sand beach, this luxury hotel offers its guests a wide choice of room types as well as some fantastic restaurant choices.

The garden rooms at the hotel look out onto the beautiful landscaped grounds. Each room has a private garden patio on which to relax as well as ensuite facilities, an outdoor and indoor shower, plasma TV and internet access. The terrace rooms have similar facilities but instead of a patio they have a rooftop terrace from which to view the surrounding area. Adjacent terrace rooms can be interconnected for families or larger groups. The Zamani suites are larger rooms and also have separate living and dining areas and 2 balconies as well as the rooftop terrace.

The final room types are the villas. There are one, two and three bedroom villas available, all featuring ensuite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor tropical showers, plasma TV’s and internet access as well as butler service. All villas have 20 metre infinity pools and sundecks. Each villa has separate kitchenette and dining areas and bars areas in which to entertain or relax.

There is a choice if restaurants at the Zamani Kempinski. Cloves restaurant takes its inspiration from the surrounding countryside whilst the Red Snapper restaurant offers fine dining. The pool bar offers the normal selection of bar drinks whilst the Zamani Beach Club and Grill is a relaxing place to wind down and enjoy some tasty cooking. Enjoy a Zamani cocktail at the Jetty Bar which is open from later afternoon til midnight.

Also available at the hotel is a stress relieving sauna – ideal after a bumpy safari journey!
